Dear Family and Friends,
This summer will be my seventh year riding with Bike4Chai. Last year our group raised close to ten million dollars, which we hope to surpass this year on August 14 and August 15 for the 10th annual ride. The money raised helps children with pediatric illness enjoy a much needed reprieve in a medically safe environment. I will be riding in memory of my daughter Chaya Sorah a”h and my father Rav Nachum Avigdor z”l.
It was with much trepidation that I embarked on this journey in May of 2013, not knowing if I possessed the ability to ride the 180 miles over a two-day period, or if I would be able to raise the entry fee. Yet because of family and friends such as yourself, I have surpassed the $10,000.00 plateau for the past 6 years, raising over $79,000.00 for Chai Lifeline!
Everyone knows the great chesed that Chai Lifeline performs on a daily basis. I ask that you please be a part of this exceptional organization by contributing to Bike4Chai. This will enable Chai Lifeline to continue their wonderful work. With over 600 fellow riders this year, we hope to surpass the 9.9 million dollars collected last year. Thank you.
