Dear friends and family:
For the sixth year in a row I have decided to ride in the annual Bike4Chai cycling event. This amazing two day event raises needed funds for Chai Lifeline. Bike 4 Chai's 10th Anniversary ride will take place on August 14-15, 2019. Over 500 cyclists will ride 180 miles over two days, through New Jersey, the Poconos and the Catskills ending in Camp Simcha in support of this very important organization.
Last summer my daughter had the privilege of working in Camp Simcha and she witnessed first hand what an amazing place Camp is for these very sick children. The camp affords them the opportunity to enjoy camp like any other child, allowing them to temporarily forget about their sicknesses and enjoy life.
As most of you know, I enjoy cycling for fun. However, I am participating in this ride to raise money for this wonderful organization dedicated to helping very sick children and their families. I have committed to raise $10,000 for this cause and I am asking for your assistance. All donations, regardless of size, are greatly appreciated.
