Dear Friends and Supporters,

I am currently training to partake in a life-changing event this summer: I will bike an extremely challenging 180 miles and 12,000 feet of climbing through New Jersey, the Pocono Mountains, and Upstate NY to raise funds in support of an absolutely wonderful children's charity organization, called Chai(to Life) Lifeline.

I am dedicating my ride to 'Mikayla' an adorable ten year old who, most unfortunately, was just diagnosed with cancer.

This is no ordinary charity cycling event; it’s an exhilarating ride ending at Camp Simcha, a remarkable overnight camp that provides seriously ill children with a vacation from sickness for two short weeks, restoring their spirits and renewing their determination to fight.

Some of these brave warrior children literally live all year for this wonderful summer experience.

The ride won't be easy! For those of you who don’t ride bikes, 12,000 feet of climbing is 41.3% of the tallest mountain on earth (Everest). Life for a child with cancer or other serious illness is grueling. Camp Simcha and its sister camp, Camp Simcha Special, are Chai Lifeline’s flagship programs. Every year these two camps offer 430 children a chance to forget about illness and just be kids again. To learn more about Camp Simcha and Camp Simcha special, visit campsimcha.org.

I will be biking to camp on Wednesday, August 14thd 2019. My objective is to raise $6,000, and I very much hope you will help me and more importantly the children reach this goal. All donations are 100% tax-deductible.

Please kindly help these wonderful children and contribute by clicking on the donate button now. Any amount is greatly appreciated but please be generous to these needy children; the important thing is to support this worthwhile organization. Also, I would personally greatly appreciate it if you could share this opportunity with anyone else who you think would want to support it.

Thank you for supporting me and, more importantly, in doing so, helping these children and their families cope with the diagnosis, treatment, and aftermath of serious pediatric illness.

Best Regards,
Marty
